There are two openings on RV Sonne expedition SO292/2. The Cruise will start on 25 June 2022 in Noumea, New Caledonia, and will end on 14 July 2022 in Petropawlowsk, Russia. Working area is the Mariana forearc, where the expedition plans to sample serpentinite mud volcanoes. Lead scientists are Walter Menapace (University of Inssbruck, walter.menapace@uibk.ac.at), Achim Kopf (MARUM, University of Bremen, akopf@marum.de), and Elmar Albers (University of Bremen, e.albers@uni-bremen.de).
