Associate professor position in Marine Geoscience at University of Bergen, Norway (deadline: October 31st)

The Department of Earth Science at the University of Bergen, Norway is currently hiring an Associate Professor in Marine Geoscience.

Possible fields of specialization include, but are not limited to, marine geology/geophysics, volcanology and/or igneous petrology, geochemistry and deep-sea technology. The successful candidate is expected to participate in the research activities at the Centre for Deep Sea Research (https://www.uib.no/en/deepsea), and will have access to a wide range of analytical facilities in the Bergen Geoanalytical Facility (including ICP-MS, LA-ICP-MS, MC-ICP-MS, TIMS, ICP-OES, GS-IRMS, class 1000 clean lab, ICs and GCs) as well as marine technology in the Norwegian Ocean Laboratory. Expertise and experience with research on spreading-ridge related processes is a requirement.
