You will study deep-sea benthic biodiversity and its dynamics (population succession, larval dispersal, recruitment, inter-specific competition, etc.) and participate in European and international research projects.

You will participate in European and international research projects at Ifremer's Department ‘Study of Deep-Sea Ecosystems’ and under the direction of the head of the Deep-Sea Environments Laboratory.

In collaboration with the Department’s research staff, you will participate in the development of innovative methods for assessing and understanding biodiversity and its dynamics (through molecular techniques, biostatistical approaches, imaging, creating and validating specific biodiversity indicators adapted to the deep-sea environment).
